PERSON: Troy Allen Worrell, 53, passed away on Tuesday, November 28 2023 at Duke University Hospital. He was born in Durham, the son of the late James Allen Worrell Jr.
He enjoyed cooking, and traveling to many places. He was very spontaneous. He loved the ocean, lakes, and any water sport that you can think of. He loved his dog "Lucky".
Mr. Worrell is survived by his wife, Leslie Worrell; mother, Barbara (Phil) McCarson; son, Bryson Troy Worrell, daughter, Amber Worrell; brothers, Christopher Allen Worrell, and Matthew Allen Worrell; and grandchildren, Juniper Sandy, Ethyn Sandy, and Emeryl Sandy.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 1st at Clements Funeral Chapel: 1105 Broad St., Durham NC 27705. The family will receive visitors prior to the service between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm.
