Ninja, age 15, of Durham North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on January 24, 2026. She was born in 2011 and joined the family in February 2011.
Ninja was a faithfull canine companion, watchdog and dedicated hiking partner for the Sunderland family. She loved exploring along the creek and river in the backyard and walking along the trails of the Eno River. Ninja will be sorely missed.
A private ceremony was held and interment was in the backyard pet cemetery.
