Mrs. Nina E. Winn, 87, of Independence MO and formerly of Gower MO, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2006.
Nina was born Oct 28, 1919 in Winfield KS. She was the only daughter of Phinace A Sunderland and Lillie Feriby Ratliff Sunderland. Nina married BF Winn on July 19, 1939 in KS. She worked on the family farm and also for National Bellas Hess and Davis Paint Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, B.F. Winn, and brothers, Ralph, Jay, Gene, Albert and Lawrence Sunderland. She is survived by two sons, Robert Winn, Independence MO, Ralph Winn, Lee's Summit MO, one daughter, Gloria Rohde and husband Lawrence, Hartford WI, three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 12th at the HixsonKlein Funeral Home, Smithville. Burial in Allen Cemetery, Gower MO. Visitation 6:30-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Smithville.
