MAXINE GALOR
1927-2007

Maxine L. Galor, 80, of Aurora passed away peacefully Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Countryside Care Center. She was born May 31, 1927 in Augusta, KS the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lizzie (Ratliff) Klingel. Maxine was an L.P.N. at St. Charles Hospital in Aurora and also at Provena Mercy Center. She volunteered at Copley Hospital and Hessed House in her spare time. Music and her love for Boston Bulldogs - especially Judy- always brought a smile to her face.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Mary Beth) of Batavia and Eldon (Red) Lindhorst of Loveland, CO; her grandchildren, Robert (Colleen) Stevens of St. Charles, Christine Stevens and Tim Stevens both of Batavia; her one great grandchild, Christian Stevens of St. Charles. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert "Bobby" Stevens in 1966, her second husband Don Galor, and her daughter Betty Phillips of Kansas.

The family would like to thank Aurora Supportive Living and Countryside Care Centre for their care and concern for Maxine. Funeral services were held at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl. Aurora.
