Agency, Missouri - Marvin Henry Free, 81, Agency, Missouri passed away on January 15, 2012. Marvin was born November 1, 1930 in Cameron, Missouri to Paul and Esther Cora (Farr) Free. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timmy and half-brother, Keith. Marvin was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War.

On May 26, 1956, he married Myrtle Dee White. She survives of the home. Additional survivors: 2 sons, Marvin “Kody” and wife, Cindy Free, Clarksdale, Missouri, David “Kim” and wife, Elysa Free, Agency, MO; 2 daughters, Connie and husband, Steve Hecker, and Corina Michelle Free, St. Joseph, MO; 12 grandchildren, Brian, Heather, Paul, Christopher, Justin, Jalisa, Nicole, Amber, Erik, Sydney, Kylie and Hayley; 4 great-grandchildren, Britney, Javen, Parker and Easton.

Marvin was an extremely devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In his early years, he worked as an engineer and retired in 1994 as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Continental Disc Corp. Since then, Marvin has dedicated his life to family, farming, fishing and hunting. He was a very creative, kind, considerate and influential man. He will be greatly missed by all.

Services: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Visitation: 6:30-8:30 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial: Packard Cemetery, Cameron. Online condolence: www.polandthompson.com.
