Bernard Cheek, 53, of Danville VA formally of Durham NC, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2026 at in Danville.

Bernard was born on March 21, 1973 in Durham, NC the second son of William Frank and Charlotte Ann (Lipscomb) Cheek.

Bernard was a truck driver for many years and was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Bernard enjoyed reading his Bible regularly and sharing his faith with everyone he met. Bernard posted many things about his life and travels on facebook.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, his brother James, sisters Donna, Priscilla, Marie and Debra, and many close friends.

Bernard was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at a later time.
